Mark McCormick was born in Western Pennsylvania and has lived in East Tennessee since he graduated from Lebanon Valley College in 2004. Mark has built his real estate business based on the core values of creating strong relationships and serving others.

This lifestyle of service is also reflecting in his community activities where he coaches a local baseball team and helps and volunteers in multiple U.S Military veteran events.

Mark enjoys the outdoor activities that East Tennessee offers such as fly fishing, camping, and hiking. When he is not in his office, or with clients, he can often be found on the thousands of miles of streams or trails that the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer.

Mark is an affiliate broker and top producer, not only at his brokerage, but in the entire Knoxville Association of Realtors MLS system and nationwide. He is also designated as a commercial agent and luxury agent. In 2019 Mark decided to expand his personal real estate business into a team and created “The Mark McCormick Team” at Keller Williams, creating and operating under their slogan “A Better Way To Do Real Estate”. The Mark McCormick Team has thrived and continues to grow by building relationships that last long after the sale.

Allison Ramsey joined The Mark McCormick Team in 2019, having been a solo agent in the Naples, FL area prior. Born in Bel Air, MD, she settled her roots here in East TN after having raised three children and owning and managing a successful medical affiliate company. She also was a genetic genealogist, helping adoptees and foundlings locate family members and was highlighted in the book, The Foundling, written by New York Times Bestselling Author, Alex Tresniowski, and Paul Fronczak.

Allison is an affiliate broker and top buyer’s agent. Her business is based on giving back to her community and creating meaningful, long-lasting relationships with her clients.

Intentionally, a large portion of her client base are veterans as her father was a Vietnam Veteran, and she understands the importance and privilege of servicing this community.

Ryan Pollard was born and raised in North Alabama. Bordering on the Tennessee line growing up, he always called this state his home. With an accounting degree on the resume, business is a strong suit and something he takes pride in. Outside of work, sports have always played a huge part in his life. He is a former college basketball player and now enjoys golf and the outdoors more than anything. 

Ryan’s past work experience includes being a tax accountant, funeral home assistant, and a bartender. Building meaningful and purposeful relationships, and serving others, have been the core of every job, especially now as an affiliate broker and buyer’s agent.

Ryan joined The Mark McCormick Team in 2022 and is extremely grateful for the opportunity. He looks forward to assisting clients during their next real estate transaction and meeting new individuals along the way.

Janie Tipton joined The Mark McCormick Team in January 2020 as an Administrative Assistant and does a variety of jobs for our team such as transaction coordination, scheduling, client liaison, event planning, social media, records upkeep, running errands, etc. She has previous work experience as a legal assistant/paralegal in a downtown law firm for 12+ years and after leaving the legal field she began working as the executive secretary to the President of a nuclear engineering consulting firm that specialized in R&D and the testing of instrumentation in nuclear power plants all over the world.

Janie is a Knoxville native and when she is not working, she spends most of her time at the ball field watching her two kids play baseball and softball. She also enjoys spending time with her family at their place in Townsend, Tennessee, located right outside of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Janie loves the East Tennessee area, it’s people and can’t imagine living anywhere else.
