General Overview

The Knox County real state market has started to heat up a little bit as we approach the end of winter. The number of new listings has increased substantially from last month, however, the total active listings on the market are down. This sounds contradictory, however it makes perfect sense. There are more pending and closed properties in the last 30 days, which has decreased the number of active listings.  The days on market for homes is slightly higher this month from last month, however, it is still low when compared to historical home sale data. Listing numbers are still down, however, the slight increase in new listings is promising as we approach spring.
